Doing my coursework.

I got up today fully aware of what I had to achieve in the day:
  1. Remove excess luggage from my car and put it in Harriet's spare room for the week (I'll pick it up when I'm back there for reading week to look after Maia).
  2. Drive to London.
  3. Tidy up the house a bit so it looks good for the people who're viewing my room, as I'm subletting it over the summer.
  4. Do reading for my dissertation literature review.
So far I have completed:
  1. Slept in, then faffed about at Harriet's eating toast, drinking tea and watching 4 Music all morning.
  2. Drove to London after having a cup of tea before the journey. Took several wrong turns in Ealing, then got diverted due to road works and held up by a fire. Had a cup of tea when I arrived to recover from the trials of the journey.
  3. Rather than tidying my room, I had another cup of tea and packed my stuff, all ready for when I leave... In a month.
  4. Carried a bed upstairs with Duncan, chipping a bit of paint on the way, but not doing too badly really. Had a cup of tea as a well done.
  5. Had a pre-supper cup of tea. Chatted to Sally while she made food, and went through an urban myths quiz.
  6. Went on a jaunt to Tesco's (which is easily within walking distance) in the car (just because I have it here this week, and I constantly say that I'd run errands if only I had it) to get loo roll. Came back with a lemon (it is Shrove Tuesday after all, so must have pancakes), mayonnaise for Sally's lunch, orange juice, pink grapefruit juice, oranges, chewing gum, chamomile tea and milk (and, thankfully, loo roll). When I got back, I had a cup of chamomile tea.
  7. I'm now writing this post with a cup of tea in my very big mug. Also just took the two pictures below.
  8. So far, I have not done my coursework. Duncan's making pancakes though.
Me holding a pen as if I were doing work. I'm not; I got the pen out of my bag especially to take that photo. It's a Bic pen for girls. While I think Russell Howard has a point, what it comes down to is that the fact it's pink genuinely is a selling point for me, so maybe they have got something right.

I LOVE this mug. I honestly think the only thing better than a cup of tea is a massive cup of tea. Sometimes when I only have normal sized mugs available I make two cups of tea so that I have another one ready for me for when I finish the first.
Anyway. On with the reading. After I've had a pancake.

*Minor addition: It's currently about an hour later, and I've eaten two pancakes, changed some incorrect spellings in this post and done some file admin on my laptop, but not done any reading. Still. I have LOOKED at it, so there's an improvement!!
